The context of collaboration

VDM Metals has been developing materials for particularly demanding applications for over 90 years. With a delivery volume of over 40,000 tons, the company is the world market leader for high-performance materials used in various industries, including chemical process, oil and gas, aviation, automotive engineering, and electrical engineering.

Excel-based solutions were to be replaced by a central CRM system in order to get a better overview of all international processes. This was required because the various departments and branches around the world were working with different ERP systems and only had access to their own department's data.
