Responsibilities

  • Lead the design strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals and driving a user-centric approach in all projects

  • Oversee the design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality standards, usability, and consistency across all platforms

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of designers, providing guidance on both creative direction and technical skills, and nurturing a collaborative and innovative team culture

  • Collaborate closely with the leadership, product management, development, and marketing teams to ensure design alignment with company and product strategy, timelines, and business objectives

  • Establish and maintain a cohesive design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease of use across all products including the brand management to uphold and evolve the company’s brand identity, ensuring that all designs reflect brand values and messaging.

  • Ensure the highest quality of design work, providing constructive feedback and direction to team members

  • Oversee the design budget and allocate resources efficiently to achieve design objectives

  • Act as a bridge between design and development, facilitating understanding of design feasibility and constraints in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Your Skills

Technical

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative  Suite, Sketch, or similar, with a solid understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and animation

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to communicate technical aspects of design effectively with developers and product teams

  • Experience with design systems and style guides, ensuring scalability and visual consistency across all digital platforms

  • Expertise in agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in agile frameworks, sprint planning, and iterative design processes

  • Demonstrated experience in UX research methodologies, including user testing, A/B testing, and usability studies

Personal

  • Leadership: Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team of designers toward a shared vision

  • Creativity and Innovation: Track record of fostering a culture of creativity and pushing the boundaries of design within the company

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and strategies towards the leadership, other departments and customers

  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships across cross-functional teams






  • Strategic Vision: Forward-thinking approach to design with the ability to anticipate future trends and shape the design strategy accordingly

  • Empathy: Strong understanding of user needs, translating these into engaging and effective design solutions

  • Negotiable english knowledge, German is a plus
